Does this place have free wifi??
5 bucks for a coffee and no free refills. Uppitty.
This is an amazing coffee shop in Marathon. They have the most amazing Chai Tea. If you are in the area you must stop by and try it. Maybe they will share the receipt with me? they have breakfast and coffee as well so you can get what you need to start your day. They are near the road to the entrance to big bend on the north side and they are open on holidays.
MoreLoved this place! Service and food we're excellent unlike the 40 minutes it would take at the Oasis to get a meal (15 min to order and 25 min for food). V6 saved the day with immediate ordering and great food 5 min later.
MoreFantastic matcha lattes, coffee, breakfast and box lunches made for the perfect start to our days in Big Bend! 🥑 🍞 🍳 ☕️ 🍵
MoreVery nice barista. The turkey wrap and tuna melt were great. Not sure about the black bean tortilla soup. Rather unconventional and no tortilla.
MoreGreat chai latte! They make it themselves and not from a syrup like the Oregon Chai mix, so there's no added sugar. The menu looked like it had lots of vegetarian brunch/lunch options.
MoreSuper friendly staff with a great menu. The aesthetic is top notch and consistent for a small town franchise, delivering everything you'd want and expect from this quaint coffee shop. The biscuits & gravy (jalapeños gravy) is incredible and I'd highly recommend the honey cinnamon latte. The egg sandwich had underwhelming title with an overwhelming taste but if you're a true coffee lover this places makes decent cup of straight Americano. Top it all off with it's clean restrooms and souther charm, V8 coffee is must stop for all.
MoreOpen early and excellent for coffee and breakfast. Fresh and tasty. You cant pick a bad dish! Staff is super friendly and nice. Clean, and fresh feel in the shop. Attached to a gift shop. Not much in Marathon, but this is a definite must stop.
MoreWas wanting a quick stop for coffee and small bite to eat on our way out of big bend. I’m kind of a picky coffee drinker, but their black drip coffee was great. Also tried a peach muffin and zucchini bread, and it was fresh, moist, and delish. Workers were nice as well!
MoreGreat place to sit on the porch and people watch. We met people from Germany, Switzerland, France, and other states in the US here. The oatmeal is the size of a Starbucks oatmeal and pricey for what it was. Served in a small paper bowl with raisins and brown sugar, my husband was not happy. I had the avocado toast with egg whites and wonderful whole grain toast. I was happy. We ate there again and my husband had the skillet with eggs and ham and he really enjoyed that. I had the traditional breakfast sunny side up and it came with fresh strawberries and pineapple. To be out in the desert and have this kind of food is such a treat.
Morereally good coffee and delicious almond cookies.
Cannot go wrong here. Had the yogurt parfait, a green smoothie, and one of the breakfasts that came with eggs, toast, and meat. The yogurt parfait was amazing. The best yogurt I have ever had. Service was very fast, the cashier/server was a gem, and the food was great. Definitely our #1 choice when going to/from Big Bend!
MoreGreat salad and home brewed ice tea. Nice artwork on the walls
Great staff .but food not impressed blan taste, high price very little served . The Mexican chocolate needs be changed name. not at all the real chocolate abuelita for the ones expecting a Mexican chocolate taste.
MoreThe coffee was good and service was friendly but the food was so overpriced for what i received. I had my first nitro coffee and tried the sunshine smoothie on our way back through and both were lovely. I understand that a business has to do what they can to survive in a small town but I don't believe their breakfast sandwich was worth $10. Nice stop but I'd stick with the coffee and smoothies only
MoreGreat little coffee shop. Excellent decor. Nice for options. Strong coffee.
Great music, incredible cold brew...glorious food.
At first I thought $14 was high for a Ruben sandwich and a red-eye, but the in-house made pastrami (corned beef mildness) fully satisfied the foodie in me and they pull a fine shot. I was surprised to find that quality in the middle of nowhere.
MoreGreat spot to stop before or exiting big bend.
Nice. Coffee was excellent. And my soup and sandwich wad very good.
After a night spent in the [Big Bend] Panther Junction parking lot, this was an ethereal treat! Coffee was the best within a 300-mile radius. Tuna and pita chips were well above par-and a good portion for the price. Service was quite nice, as honestly I didn't know what to expect from this remote city. Seriously, go here. I can't recommend enough.
MoreFind another place to eat. This place is REALLY slow and unfriendly (we were not allowed to order breakfast at 11:01 after standing in line for 12 minutes)
MoreWe didn't try the coffee but had avocado toasts instead. Nice place!
Quality coffee, beautiful aesthetic, incredible local art on the walls.
Consistently great menu of classic dishes for breakfast and lunch, made with quality ingredients and with care.Tow particular breakfast standouts: Huevos Rancheros; Biscuit and Gravy. Coffee is from Big Bend roasters and the barrista is very skilled on the cappuccino machine.Very much worth the detour!
MorePretty nice coffee shop in small town Marathon. Breakfast portions are small for the price. Espresso tastes burnt - better off with drip coffee. Staff doesn’t seem to welcome travelers - or perhaps they are just too busy. Staff appeared to be frantic on a Sunday morning and slamming dishes often...not an overall welcoming vibe.
MoreThis place is immaculately operated. Everything from the coffee and smoothies are top notch, delicious and pleasing to the palate. If you're ever in Marathon make sure you stop by.
Morein a small town in an isolated area of Texas, this place was the go-to place for my first breakfast while visiting Big Bend. The person at the counter was exceedingly friendly, and while breakfast ended up setting me back 15 bucks I won't complain because they're only one of two or three joints in town will you can get breakfast and open the earliest. This probably will be the restaurant I eat at if I am ever at Marathon Texas again. The coffee was a great cup but seemed a bit on the high side price wise for plain old black coffee considering the cop was about a 12 oz cup. But they did have filtered water and I stopped to get a refill on coffee at another place and you could taste the bad water right away. Show V6 gets a gold star for that
MoreSuch a nice place to have breakfast or lunch in Marathon. Efficiently staffed, open by 7:00, friendly vibe. And the food was excellent.
MoreGreat place, food was great so was coffee
Great food and great tasting coffee. Avocado Turkey wrap is the best. Very friendly staff & attentive.
MoreGreat coffee, nice, clean atmosphere and a super-fun and friendly barista!
Very nice, clean little coffee and sandwich shop in Marathon. Recommend!
V6 coffee is a must if you’re in the area. We stopped on the way into and out of Big Bend. We tried the smoothies, tea, cold brew, various sandwiches. Everything was fantastic.
MoreWe stopped by for a quick lunch, and were totally blown away by the smoothies here. The almond butter addition lends a creamy, earthy taste that I can't stop thinking about! Lentil soup was also incredible. Looking forward to stopping by again, soon.
MoreHad a really great latte and parfait, but all their food is delicious. Great service, and a cute dining room. Will stop by the next time I'm headed to Big Bend
MoreSecond time to visit this awesome little coffee/tea/wine shop- The owner is from New Zealand and he is SO NICE...the tea is the best tea I have ever had before as well...Especially with the hibiscus flavoring in it...(the lavender sugared shortbread cookies were to die for too) Great atmosphere, great snacks, sandwiches. and overall a nice chill out place- super clean too!
MoreGreat place to catch a break after driving for hours upon hours.
Fun staff, with very friendly service. The food was very good and well presented.... only One Problem... The Forks are plastic and very DULL. You can't even stick the forks through a piece of lettuce. GET NEW FORKS PLEASE.
MoreVery nice staff. Food is excellent. Coffee and smoothies is fresh. They use as much locally sourced ingredients as they can. Good atmosphere. Something for everyone regardless of dietary needs.
MoreStopped on our way out of Big Bend. We had the turkey Reuben and caprese sandwiches. Delicious mexican hot chocolate. Excellent service. Ask for tips about local places of interest. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful!
MoreBeautiful place, and wonderful staff. Best cortado ever as well.
Nice place to stop buy and grab a bite when traveling. City prices, for breakfast and coffee + a delicious macha smoothie we paid $40 after tip.
MoreGreat place to grab breakfast and coffee before visiting Big Bend. I had the avocado toast and an Americano. They were both delicious. The atmosphere was unique and full of character. The service was great too!
MoreMy favorite coffee shop. Too bad they don't have something similar in San Antonio. I love stopping here for a coffee and a bite to eat before heading into Big Bend National Park.
MoreIf I have an option to give zero star, I would like to. Their staff was so rude and it ruined my first breakfast in town of Marathon. Visitor, please stay away from this place.
MoreBreakfast was good, but very small portions for the price. The Mexican Latte isn’t Mexican as far as I can tell. Staff was very personable and efficient.
MoreGreat place to have delicious Mexican hot chocolate with real chocolate. The cookies were excellent as well. The barrista was really nice. Don't hesitate to visit the art gallery next to it.
MoreHealthy sandwich and coffee! Store is clean and fancy.
Came in here with a friend did not buy anything. The staff was nice and it looked like they had a lot of selection for non coffee drinkers also. Also like how they have the seating outside to enjoy the cool morning before it starts to warm up. They also have meals there and many of them looked pretty good even had diet friendly meals that's saying a lot!
